Norann Beidas is a Washington native who grew up in Stanwood, on the west side of the state. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Whitworth University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, then earned her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law.
During her legal education she took part in legal clinics serving underserved communities, and she is licensed with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. She also worked with now-Honorable Judge Dean Chuang, conducting jury trials and briefing and attending oral argument before the Washington State Supreme Court.
Before joining Schwab Law, Norann spent several years practicing criminal defense at a prominent Tacoma law firm. Prior to that she specialized in family law — experience that gives her a holistic perspective on how a criminal charge reaches into the rest of a client’s life, from their job and housing to the time they spend with their children.
Norann joined Schwab Law as a Partner managing the firm’s Western Division, defending clients facing criminal charges throughout Washington.
